In the next three years,
JTBC will provide over 20 dramas to be streamed on entertainment streaming platform,
Netflix.
The dramas selected will be streamed exclusively in 190 countries excluding Korea. These will be introduced to Global Markets as
'Netflix Original Series'. JTBC recently signed a global license agreement with Netflix. Since then, they have been serving over 600 hours of content.
“This agreement has further strengthened our trust relationship. In particular, JTBC, which aims to be a global production house, is devoted to exploring overseas markets and producing high-quality content. It is particularly encouraging that it contains content that will strengthen the company-to-company partnership in the long term.” JTBC said.
Then Netflix stated ”JTBC's excellent content is also positively received by international Netflix fans. We are pleased to announce that the new long-term partnership announced today will bring the best Korean dramas produced by JTBC to the world."
