BTS swiped clean all American Music Awards 2019 nominations

Earlier this week, the 2019 American Music Awards took place in Los Angeles, California . Global superstars, BTS took home three awards out of their three nominations for the night.

The septet took home the 'Top Social Artist' award for the second year, besting Billie Eilish, EXO, Ariana Grande and Shawn Mendes.

They also won 'Tour of the Year' for their record-breaking 'Love Yourself Tour' that kicked off in Seoul back in 2018. The tour was later introduced a second chapter, 'Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour' that filled stadiums worldwide that just recently concluded. They snag the trophy from other notable acts like Ariana Grande, Elton John, Pink and Ed Sheeran.
And finally, they bested Panic! At The Disco and Jonas Brothers for the 'Favorite Duo/Group - Pop/Rock' category.
Even though RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook couldn't make it at the ceremony, they sent out their 'thank you message' to the millions of ARMYs who supported them.

The Golden Maknae, Jungkook expressed in full english his thank you saying “Thank you so much! We are really honored to receive such an important and meaningful award.” Jin then said his deepest apologies for not being able to attend the event, “We are sorry we can’t be there to enjoy such a festive night in person, but we hope to see you soon.”

Then the leader, RM concluded with a heart-warming message, “BTS has been a group for six and a half years, and throughout those years, we had so many of our dreams somehow manifest into reality. ARMY, you guys are the ones who make all of this possible, and we really couldn’t have done it without your love and support from all over the world. We’ll try our best to live up to it to strive high, work hard, and return your love back to you,”

Their good friend, Halsey, whom they collaborated with also won for the 'Favorite Song - Pop/Rock' category. It seemed that she had slammed the Grammys  during her acceptance speech because of the snub that the K-Pop group got for this year.

She initially expressed on Twitter her dismay saying 'the best song of her career' was not given any recognition despite it's massive success worldwide.

Congratulations again, BTS and to all ARMYs out there!
